GECKO Culinary Adventures is an interactive cooking school designed to inspire and motivate even the most shy or reluctant students by keeping it simple, fast and fresh. We specialise in quick and easy cooking, teaching you how to create gourmet meals without spending hours in the kitchen!

GECKO offers a unique opportunity to cook, interact and share ideas in a fun, social environment; and a fantastic view of Durban to boot! Explore your creativity and meet other like-minded people. It doesn’t take long before even the most reticent suddenly become bold and someone sends the whole class into hysterics by showing us how not to do things or by showing off their “culinary genius”!

From creative cooking, international cuisine and Sushi making to cooking on the WEBER ... come and learn all the tricks and shortcuts to make gourmet cooking fun while enjoying a feast that you helped prepare!

In addition to our regular courses, GECKO is ideal for group and corporate functions!
